Reports & exports
Monthly client PDFs, branded reports, BS EN 62446-1 test reports, CSV telemetry exports and the full site data archive — all generated from SolarFleet.
The monthly client PDF
Every site generates a monthly performance report. It runs on the 1st of the month covering the previous calendar month, lands in the site's Reports tab, and emails to whoever's subscribed.
What's on page one — the bit the finance manager actually reads:
- Generated MWh + revenue (using the site's configured tariff).
- Performance ratio against the weather-normalised expectation.
- Availability (% of daylight hours the inverter was reporting).
- Open cases summary — count by severity, with a one-liner on each critical case.
- Work completed — visits attached to the site in the period, with engineer and outcome.
- A cover-note field you can edit before send. The note bakes into the PDF.
Subsequent pages drill into the charts: daily generation vs expected, daily PR over time, case-by-case timeline. Each PDF is signed and timestamped so the version sent to a client is forensically the same as what's in your archive.
Branded reports
Settings → Reports controls the look:
- Logo. Upload yours and it appears top-left on every page. We do not put SolarFleet branding on a client-facing PDF unless you explicitly want it (the Powered-by line is opt-in).
- Colour. Pick a primary brand colour for chart accents and section dividers.
- Footer. Custom footer text — company number, registered address, GDPR contact, whatever your compliance team requires.
- Cover style. Two layouts available — Minimal (numbers-first) and Editorial (more visual, photos featured).
The same settings apply to BS EN 62446-1 test reports generated from the engineer mobile app.
Generating a report on demand
You don't have to wait for the 1st. From any site's Reports tab, click "Generate report" and pick a date range. The report is built fresh from the underlying telemetry — same template, your custom date window. Useful for end-of-quarter rollups, contract reviews, or evidencing performance to an insurer.
CSV exports
Every telemetry chart has an "Export CSV" action. The export contains the raw timestamps and values for the date range and granularity currently displayed. CSVs are produced server-side and streamed; a multi-year export downloads in seconds.
Columns are stable: timestamp_utc, site_id, inverter_id (when applicable),
power_kw, energy_kwh, temperature_c, irradiance_wm2. Open in Excel, drop
into a BI tool, do whatever your analyst wants.
The full site data archive
Settings → Data export will queue a full archive of any site — telemetry, equipment register, alerts, cases, visits, attached photos, BS EN 62446-1 PDFs, audit log. The default window is two years; you can override.
The archive is a single ZIP delivered via a signed download link (valid for 24h). Useful for:
- Handing over a site to another operator at the end of a contract (alongside the formal site-transfer ritual).
- Right-to-be-forgotten data subject access requests.
- Migrating off the platform if you ever decide to — your data is yours.
